OK here's your chance for a real poker run not too far from home. This is the real deal. Power Boat Party has a poker run set up for Dubuque, IA. I believe they are taking the helicopter which means you folks that want those aerial photos of you boat like you see on TV here you go. This is a big deal and I will go if I can This event was planned last minute which from my point of view makes it better than one planned a year in advance. People pull together and make this happen which makes it that much more fun. Serious go to this it's worth the trip.
Due to the limited amount of time we have to plan this event we have decided to run this event without sponsors, without t-shirts, and with limited prizes available. Because of this registration for the event will only be $20.00 per boat which will include a single Black Jack hand. Additional hands can be purchased for an additional $20.00 per hand if you want to increase your chances of winning. So what this means is the entire entry fee will go into the prize pot with the top hand taking home a pile of cash... or if he or she chooses purchase everyone a drink, or two, that night!

The schedule for the event is as follows:

Saturday September 13th:

9:00AM - 10:30AM: Registration at The Yardarm (there will be no pre-registration for this event)

11:00AM - 1:30PM: (STOP 1) Mid-Town Marina (Iowa/ISU game starts at 11:05 and will be televised and showing on the big screen at Mid-Town so no worries about missing the big game)

2:00PM - 5:30PM: (STOP 2) Bellevue Beach. Beach the boat and enjoy the beach with friends.

6:00PM - ???: Back to Yardarm to deal Black Jack hands, eat, and enjoy the evening over some drinks out on the deck/patio.

Place to stay for those traveling: Days Inn located at 1111 Dodge Street right off of HWY 20. For reservations call 563-583-3297. Room rates will be $80.00 per night and they have quite a bit of room for parking trucks/trailers.
